Hi, I\u2019m Alexis. I\u2019m a mom to Ezekiel, my smart, energetic 2.9-year-old, and Alani, my sweet 11-month-old baby girl. Sometimes, I still can\u2019t believe these tiny humans are mine and that I get to live this crazy, messy, wonderful life with them every day.<\/p>\n

It Goes By So Fast<\/h3>\n

Having two kids under two<\/a> was a wild ride. Some days, pure chaos. You know the kind \u2014 snacks everywhere, endless questions, constant \u201cMommy, wook!\u201d moments, and absolutely zero time to yourself. Other days, though, it\u2019s pure magic. The kind of magic that sneaks up on you in a quiet moment when your baby grabs your finger or your toddler wraps their arms around your leg and says, \u201cI wub you.\u201d<\/p>\n

I work full-time, so my days are a nonstop juggle of emails, lunch breaks turned snack breaks, and trying to get a few important things done while two little people demand my attention. It\u2019s exhausting; it\u2019s loud; and it\u2019s messy, but I wouldn\u2019t trade it for the world.<\/p>\n

Soak It All In<\/h3>\n

People always say, \u201cIt goes by so fast.\u201d When you\u2019re knee-deep in toys and snack crumbs, it honestly feels like it\u2019s dragging on forever. But then you look back at old pictures, and suddenly your baby isn\u2019t a baby anymore. Alani\u2019s starting to wobble around, trying to keep up with her big brother, and I find myself trying to soak it all in before these moments slip away.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the truth: I don\u2019t have it all figured out. Some days, I barely hold it together. If your toddler ate nothing but crackers today, it would be the same here. If your laundry pile is way too high and your coffee is always cold, join the club. If you ever wonder if you\u2019re doing enough, I promise you, you absolutely are.<\/p>\n

Hold Onto the Messy, Beautiful Chaos<\/h3>\n

One day, my house will be quiet again<\/a>. I\u2019ll miss the sticky floors, the endless \u201cMommy\u201d calls, and the little voices that fill every corner of my world. So for now, I\u2019m holding onto the messy, beautiful chaos for as long as I can.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in this season of life too, know you\u2019re doing great. Really. Here\u2019s to strong coffee, a little grace for ourselves, and all the tiny moments that make this wild journey so worth it.<\/p>\n
